We have completed the first season of the Inside Halos league on BaseHit.com and with that recruiting for season 2 starts now!
For those that have never heard of BaseHit. Basehit is a simulation website where you take control of a baseball team filled of generated fictional players. It's your responsibility to set your lineup, rotation, bullpen and depth chart. You can improve your team via free agency, the annual 3 round amateur draft or via the pre season free agent draft. This specific league has 2-games simulated per day. Just like real life, the goal is to take your team to the playoffs in a 160 game season and win the World Series. Basehit.com is a free website and is the best computer simulated fantasy baseball league out there!
My dad introduced me to Basehit.com. He has been involved with the website for about 20+ years, since I was only a couple years old. I really got into BaseHit.com back in 2021 when I took over a team coming off having just won the World Series. Under my control I was able to take the team to win another 2 Championships. It's been a huge bonding experience for my dad and I and something we've shared since then. It's a blast to develop your own team and try to create a Dynasty.
The InsideHalos League consists of 4 divisions and 24 teams, the top 2 teams in a division will go to the playoffs. The league will have an entry fee along with payouts. This season we are introducing two separate packages for those of you that want to join in on the fun! The first package will be paying season by season, this specific package is $5 for one season of play. The second package will be $40 for 8 seasons of play plus a free Inside Halos T-Shirt. The break-down is $5 for each of the 8 seasons plus a free InsideHalos T-Shirt which is normally $29.
Here's how the payout works:
Division Winners - $15
Win the 1st Round of the playoffs - $5
Win the 2nd Round of the playoffs - $10
World Series Champion - $20
As an example, if you won your division during the regular season, you’d get $15, if you’re able to walk your way and win the World Series you’d get an additional $35 for a total of $50.
As another example, if you finished in 2nd in your division during the regular season. You would not get the $15, but if you walked your way to a World Series title, you’d get $5 + $10 + $20 for a total of $35.
Those that are new to the league, you will be randomly assigned a team of the current 10 open teams by a random hat drawing. Those that were with us last season will keep their team.
Come check it out, Season 2 will be starting on June 7, 2025 regardless if the league is full or not, teams that are not claimed will be managed by, Bryan Whitfield Sr, so we can keep the same payouts even if we don’t fill the league. We are hoping to start as soon as possible. It's a whole lot of fun and there are some people that enjoy this more than Fantasy Baseball.
We are allowing people to have more than one team, initial fee is $5, any extra team will be an additional $5 (you CANNOT trade with your own teams). The priority is to start on the 7th of June, our hope is to get 24 different owners, if that does not happen, at least we can get underway with the hope of having more owners in future seasons.
